XO - VCXO

A.R.Electronique has the
capability to develop a large choice of XO / VCXO designed
with AT cut, quartz crystals or lithium tantalate resonators
from internal manufacturing.
The XO - VCXO program covers a frequency
range from 4 to 270 MHz (direct frequency), extended to
2 GHz by internal multiplication.

The OBTAR / OBTAR-H families are XO specially
characterized by their low phase noise. They integrate high
quality resonators combined with optimised oscillator's electronic.
They are devoted to high level applications, such as radars,
frequency transponders, telemetry, TTNC. |

The VCSI / VCSI-H families are
high performance VCXO :
- the low frequency shift versions procure very low phase noise
with a frequency variation range sufficient for temperature and
ageing frequency drift compensation.
- the medium frequency shift versions offer frequency variation
range up to +/-300.10-6 (quartz resonators).
Wider frequency variation ranges,
up to 1% p.p. occur in the VCLI family (lithium tantalite resonators).
For all these VCXO's, the control
voltage range, the slope as well as the linearity can be defined
regarding the application requirements. The phase noise characteristics
close to the carrier is directly correlated to their pulling range.
All these products can
be designed for specific avionic, military application, where
harsh environmental conditions appears (extended temperature range,
vibration, shock). Ruggerized resonators, in 4 points mounting,
T0-5 enclosures, low g sensitivity down to 5.10-10/g, are used
for these applications.
