Launched in 1989, AR Electronique located itself in Besançon, a place well known for time, frequency and Microtechniques. The company initially concentrated on the development and manufacture of frequency & time instruments and electronic circuit design (ASIC, CAD).
In 1991 they commenced the R & O and manufacturing of Crystal Oscillato rs. These included OCXO's, high stability OCXO's, TCXO's & VCXO's.
In 1996 AR Electronique set up in Sartrouviìle near Paris a manufacturing unit for the production of high stability crystal resonators.
Later in 2000 the Company created a piezoelectric filter department to complete their fulI range of frequency control products.
